Our First Steps class is designed for new members and guests. We invite you to join our Senior Pastor, Dr. Ronny Raines, and our ministry team for our next membership class. We'll treat you to a delicious meal in the Laida Fellowship Hall, and then help you discover how God wants to use you at First Baptist Church. On Saturday morning, April 18, our church plans to serve our community in many different ways. Registration to serve on that day begins on Sunday, March 1. Stop by to register at Missions Landing, one of the tables in our Grace Concourse, or online. We will have around 20 different ministry projects for you and your family to consider. We will be serving alongside a long-time church partner in Denver, Colorado. Everyday we will engage hundreds of children and their families as well as serve within the local church. Scholarships will be available.

Calling all boys, grades 1st-5th, for our Boys Event: Guys and Games! Join us for an afternoon of sports, games, and snacks on March 8 from 3-5pm in the Gym. Be sure to bring your favorite guy with you: Dad, Grandpa, Uncle, or another special role model.
Join us on Sunday, March 8 immediately following the service in the Original Fellowship Hall for Greeter Training. This training is for both current Greeters and anyone interested in serving in this vital hospitality ministry. Students are also encouraged and welcome to serve as Greeters.
As one of the first friendly faces people see on Sundays, our Greeters help create a warm and welcoming environment for everyone who walks through our doors.

Day 1: Pray for the senior pastor, the ministry team, and the support staff who serve at FBC Clarksville (Hebrews 13:7; Colossians 4:2-4).
Day 2: Pray for growth (spiritual and numerical) and congregational unity to be evident at FBC Clarksville (Acts 2:42-47; Ephesians 4:11-13).
Day 3: Pray for the Lord to call more workers to get involved and serve at FBC Clarksville (Isaiah 6:8; Luke 10:2).
Day 4: Pray for the giving of tithes and offerings to be generous, faithful, and cheerful to meet the ministry needs at FBC Clarksville (Malachi 3:10; 2 Corinthians 9:6-7).

They asked because by watching Jesus, they realized His closeness to and power with God came right down the middle of His prayer life. Jesus answered them by leading them through 4 stages of maturity to become who they were in Acts. This session will overview what those stages are, and how God grows your prayer life through them.
WHERE GOD STARTS EVERYONE IN PRAYER - STAGE 1
Small children must learn basic lessons, so also it is in spiritual growth. This session starts with where you must start in prayer, learning foundational lessons of how to relate to God.
WHERE MOST PEOPLE GET STUCK IN PRAYER AND QUIT GROWING - STAGE 2
This session continues with important relationship lessons, but then examines the next set of lessons which so many Christians miss and become stuck. If you learn these lessons in this stage you will go on to start having power in prayer.
WHERE POWER IN PRAYER HAPPENS - STAGES 3 AND 4
This session builds on the previous 3 and identifies what it takes to become a prayer warrior, why God answers some people more than others. If you learn these lessons, you will pray and things will happen.
PUTTING A PLAN TOGETHER FOR YOUR OWN SPIRITUAL GROWTH IN PRAYER
So many times in conferences, we hear good things but go home and never put them into practice. This session will help you craft a personal plan for your prayer life based on which stage of maturity you are in.

DNOW is a local weekend retreat, hosted in the homes of our church members and a local church facility. This year it is being hosted right here at First Baptist Clarksville, and we are expecting hundreds of students from local churches to come and encounter Jesus. The cost this year is $55, which includes all meals for the weekend, as well as curriculum, and a t-shirt.

2026 Mission Opportunities / Trips Informational Meeting
Join us on Sunday, January 18th from 11:45am - 12:45pm in the Old Fellowship Hall as we roll out the 2026 mission opportunities for you and your family to engage in God's work both locally and globally. Lunch will be provided at no cost. There will not be childcare. We will have a kids' area in the back of the room where kids can color and make crafts as we share. The warmth of Christmas will fill the room by the beautiful glow of candles held by all who attend. The sweet sound of Christmas carols will fill the air. Our hearts will be humbled as we observe the Lord's Supper and hear an uplifting message that reminds us of the greatest gift we have in Christ.
Join us on Wednesday, December 17 from 4:30-6:00pm in the Laida Fellowship Hall for Christmas Dinner. At 6pm Preschool, Kids, and Students will meet in their areas, and Adults will remain in the Fellowship Hall for a time of Worship.
Reservations are suggested but not required. This will help us get a head count for dinner! Dinner will be $10 per person (kids 10 years old and under eat free).

On Friday, December 12, the Legacy Ministry, ages 55 and up, will be taking a day trip aboard the General Jackson in Nashville, experiencing lunch followed by a Christmas show. Space is limited to the first 50 people. The cost is $75 which includes transportation, lunch, and the General Jackson ticket. We plan to depart FBC at 9:45am and return around 4:00pm. Join us on Wednesday, November 19th, from 4:30 to 6:00 PM in the Laida Fellowship Hall for a Thanksgiving Dinner followed by a Thanksgiving Worship Service that will begin at 6:00 PM immediately after dinner.
While reservations are suggested, they are not mandatory. However, making a reservation will help us better plan for the dinner. The cost for dinner is $10 per person, and children aged 10 years and under eat for free. Childcare will be provided for children aged 2 years and under upon request. Please RSVP by November 16th to secure your spot.

Immediately following our worship service on November 16, from 11:45am to 1:30pm, we will host a missions mingle time in our gym area. At this mingle time, you will be able to try snacks from different parts of the world. We will have many of our missions partners at information tables that you will be able to connect with as you walk around. We also plan to add a room with prayer stations this year for you to pray for God’s work around the world. Families are encouraged to attend. Childcare is not provided. There will be tables for kids to connect with missions activities. There is no cost or reservation required for the event.
On Sunday, November 16, we will celebrate the work of Jesus through our church locally, regionally, and globally. We will have over 20 of our mission partners with us. All of our ministries (Hispanic and Korean) will be together for the 10:30 a.m. worship service. After the worship service, at our Missions Day Mingle, we will meet all of our partners and have an opportunity to snack on different ethnic foods.

The Loving Touch Ministry reaches out to our homebound members through calls, cards, or visits. If you have a heart to love on and encourage others, we’d love for you to be a part! All ages are welcome!
Our Fall Student Serve Day will take place on Saturday, November 8, from 7:30am-6:30pm.
The cost will be $10, and that will cover lunch, dinner, and transportation for the day!
