STUDENT MINISTRY

FBCT Students mission is to worship God, love people, share Jesus, and make disciples. Everything we do is to achieve this goal. The Student Leadership Team has put a name on each aspect of our ministry: community, connect, and core. We want to invest in the next generation by teaching these ideas on these three fronts.

CONNECT GROUPS

On Sunday Mornings at 9:00am we have what we call Connect Groups. These are small groups generally split by grade and gender that are geared toward helping teens understand and apply the Bible to their everyday lives.

On Wednesday Evenings at 6:00pm we gather for a time of worship, Bible study, and then split into small groups to dive deeper into different topics we learn bout each week.

WORSHIP

We worship in Students on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings, but we also invite you to join us for our 10:30am Worship Service in the Grace Worship Center.

WORSHIP GOD

In everything we do we want to point people to God. At FBCT Students we will intentionally and strategically filter everything we do through the question, “Does this point people to God?” If the answer is ‘yes’ we do it. If the answer is ‘no’ then we don't. Seeing students know God in a real way is our motivation, our desire, and our purpose.

LOVE PEOPLE

In everything we do we want to reflect the love of Christ. At every program, every event, every service, every serve-day, we want to live in a manner that displays Jesus’ love. Love requires action, and that is the idea behind and identity of FBCT Students.

SHARE JESUS

In everything we do we want to be faith-filled, big-thinking, big-dreaming, big-living, risk takers. At FBCT Students we never want to insult God with small thinking and small living. We will try new things, challenge status quos, and reach for the stars. Jesus promised abundant life and in Him we will take hold of that promise. We will be passionate, and sold-out to demonstrate to students what life in Christ looks like-REAL LIFE!

MAKE DISCIPLES

In everything we do we want to work toward leaving a mark that has cultural ripple effects. Culture is shaped by people. People need Jesus. Therefore we will do anything and everything to reach people who don’t know Christ. To reach people no one else is reaching, we have to do things no one else is doing. When people are reached and Jesus is preached landscapes begin to change.
