At First Baptist, we desire to make Jesus known everywhere. Our marching orders are given to us by Jesus in the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20). We are commanded to go and make disciples of all nations. Therefore, we go to Clarksville. We go to Tennessee. We go to North America. We go to the Nations. Join us as we seek to make Jesus known everywhere!

C.T. Studd said, “The light that shines the farthest shines brightest at home.” We must provide a gospel witness for Christ here in our community. Join us as we seek to make Jesus known in Clarksville.

There are gospel opportunities for us to be involved within this State. For example, there are thousands of people considered “unreached” around the world that now live in the Nashville area. Join us as we seek to make Jesus known in Tennessee.

We desire to help reach North America with the hope of the gospel. An estimated 275,000,000 people in North America do not have a relationship with Jesus. Help us change that by getting involved in North America.

There is great gospel need all over the world. 59% of the world today is considered unreached. This means that Jesus is not known or named among 4.5 billion people. Help us make Jesus known among the nations.

how do we seek to SHARE JESUS EVERYWHERE?

PRAY

Prayer is vital for the people of God to faithfully serve Him around the world to see the fulfillment of Revelation 7:9. As a church, we intentionally pray for God to be exalted everywhere, for boldness to proclaim Him, for workers needed in the harvest, and for missionaries and their work around the world. You can find weekly prayer requests for national and international missions at NAMB and IMB.

GIVE

Missions work requires a significant financial investment from God’s people. We call our congregation to sacrificially give to missions work. Help send our church members to do the work of God as well as invest in our missions partnerships both locally and globally by donating to our First Baptist World Missions Fund.

Go

The greatest problem in the world is spiritual lostness. The only solution to this spiritual lostness is the gospel of Jesus. We encourage and equip our congregation to go and share this gospel. We seek to provide opportunities for our congregation to be involved with God’ Kingdom work, both locally and globally.

God calls out long-term missionaries from the local church. We desire and work towards sending long-term workers from our church to the harvest field. We also partner with missions organizations to help us equip and send out these workers.

Educate

God is a missionary God, and He calls His people to be missionary people. We lead our congregation to a better understanding of missions, to learn how God is at work locally and globally, and to see how cooperation with like-minded organizations is effective for the spread of the gospel.
