DANNY & THE SHACKS

For children in completed K through completed 5th Grade

• Music Camp: July 8th -12th | 9:00 am-noon

• Musical Presentation: Saturday, July 13th at 5:00 pm

Come along on this Biblically-inspired, Won’t-Bend-Won’t-Bow-Won’t-Burn Babylonian epic, recounting the adventures of Daniel ("Danny," as we call him in our 21st-century version of the story) and his bandmates, The Shacks (better known to you Bible scholars out there as Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego!). In our re-telling of the story, three young Hebrew men named Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, in conjunction with the prophet Daniel (of lions den fame), have a band called DANNY & THE SHACKS. They embark on a roller-coaster-thrill-ride of experiences as they encounter King Neb, his golden statue, some crazy Babylonians, the fiery furnace, and of course, the infamous lions den. Through it all, the powerful truth of God’s Word and the importance of being obedient and faithful to His teaching comes through loud and clear in a storyline so fantastic and faith affirming, it could only come from the Word of God.

Join us on Wednesday, May 22 from 5-7pm for our End of School Church-Wide Fellowship in the Laida Fellowship Hall due to rain. We will enjoy a special time of worship, fellowship, food (hot dogs and hamburgers), and games!

Attention all parents of preschoolers and kids ages 8 weeks to 3rd grade, our FBCT family is offering you the opportunity to have a few hours of childcare during the busy Christmas season. Imagine what you could do: Christmas shopping without kids, fellowshipping with Connect Group members, dining out with a spouse or friend, or just enjoying some peace and quiet. 

Our trusted and caring FBCT childcare workers and volunteers will engage your children with fun, age-appropriate Christmas activities, ensuring they’re well taken care of while you’re out.

Rest easy knowing your children are in a safe, nurturing environment, and take this chance to recharge, knowing you’re coming back to happy kids!

Registration will open on November 12th.

Registration will close on December 5th.

The cost is $10.00 per child with a $25.00 family max.

Kids, grades 1st-5th, join us for a Nerf Party on Sunday, November 5 from 3-5pm in the FBCT Gym! Kids need to bring their own NERF gun (do not bring your own ammo).Mrs. Tabitha will supply all of the ammo. We will enjoy targets and lots of fun and games. Kids will also enjoy PIZZA! Please enter through the Gym door (Door 5) as you arrive!

In a galaxy far away, and in a future not too distant, the crew of spaceship J-316 is on a mission: trekking through the galaxy, bringing the Word of God to people everywhere! In the future, all written communication is now sent and stored digitally–nothing is written on paper. The Bible is stored on the Intergalactic Bible Data Base, allowing all people access to God’s Word. But there is a radical plot underway by a misguided, power-hungry ruler who is steadily erasing scriptures from the database. The crew of J-316 has just landed on a planet whose inhabitants still employ the age-old practice of Bible memorization. With the Word of God hidden in their hearts, they offer to go back to the ship with the crew to help restore the lost scriptures. But will they be able to stop the plot to steal scriptures away? Time is of the essence, and nothing in this world or beyond could be more important than making sure God’s Word remains available to people throughout the galaxy!
