PRAYER CONFERENCE

Join us February 27-28 in the Fellowship Hall for our Prayer Conference with John Franklin.

The disciples asked Jesus, "Lord, teach us to pray."  He did, and in the book of Acts, they receive everything they ask for.  If you also want to learn to pray like they did, then this conference is for you.  It will teach what you need to learn in the stages of maturity God takes a person through to make them into a powerful prayer warrior.  Hope to see you there.

SESSION 1     

WHY THE DISCIPLES ASKED, “LORD, TEACH US TO PRAY”

They asked because by watching Jesus, they realized His closeness to and power with God came right down the middle of His prayer life. Jesus answered them by leading them through 4 stages of maturity to become who they were in Acts.  This session will overview what those stages are, and how God grows your prayer life through them.

SESSION 2     

WHERE GOD STARTS EVERYONE IN PRAYER  - STAGE 1

Small children must learn basic lessons, so also it is in spiritual growth.  This session starts with where you must start in prayer, learning foundational lessons of how to relate to God.        

SESSION 3      

WHERE MOST PEOPLE GET STUCK IN PRAYER AND QUIT GROWING - STAGE 2

This session continues with important relationship lessons, but then examines the next set of lessons which so many Christians miss and become stuck.  If you learn these lessons in this stage you will go on to start having power in prayer.

SESSION 4      

WHERE POWER IN PRAYER HAPPENS - STAGES 3 AND 4

This session builds on the previous 3 and identifies what it takes to become a prayer warrior, why God answers some people more than others.  If you learn these lessons, you will pray and things will happen.

SESSION 5      

PUTTING A PLAN TOGETHER FOR YOUR OWN SPIRITUAL GROWTH IN PRAYER

So many times in conferences, we hear good things but go home and never put them into practice.  This session will help you craft a personal plan for your prayer life based on which stage of maturity you are in.

Pastor John Butler from the East Rogersville Baptist will be our guest speaker to share about his experience in revival for four week. Also Knox Chambers will have some of the students from Montgomery Central Middle School to share their testimonies.

CHILDCARE REGISTRATION

Childcare available Monday and Tuesday for 3rd grade children and younger.
Regular Wednesday night activities are available for all children.

Childcare must be reserved 24 hours in advance.
