Preschool

Wild Adventure Wednesday Resumes

Wild Adventures Wednesday resumes on January 2, 2026. Come join the fun!

Jesus Loves you “SNOW” Much!

January 11, 2026

Preschoolers, join us on January 11 as we learn that Jesus loves you “Snow” much! From going to church, to reading our Bible, to loving God, and Baptism, Jesus is our ultimate example. In fact, through fun snow themed crafts, games, and a very special Bible story, our preschoolers will learn the depth of how much God truly loved us when He sent His Son, Jesus.

Mark your calendar to join us January 11 at 9:00 & 10:30am as we learn that Jesus loves you, Jesus loves me, and Jesus loves the world “Snow” much!

Baptistry Tour

January 25, 2026

On Sunday, January 25, 2026, our PreK and Kindergarten students will tour the baptistry with Pastor Ronny. At this tender age, children are naturally curious and open, making it the perfect time to introduce them to the concepts of the Christian faith. The children will be able to ask questions and learn what baptism means.

You’re Never Too Young!

On Sunday, December 14th, our PreK and Kindergartners learned that you're never too young to Worship God, Love People, Share Jesus, and Make Disciples!

Engaging in Christmas Caroling to our Legacy Connect Group classes at 9 am and then to our younger preschool classes at 10:30 am, our little ones shared the love of Jesus and the true meaning of Christmas over 150 times! A heartfelt thank you to our Preschool Connect Group teachers, and all the moms and dads who helped prepare them for this special day. We’re also grateful to our Legacy Connect Group classes for inviting us to Christmas Carol.

Staying Healthy

To keep our preschool a place of health and happiness, we kindly remind you to monitor your children for any signs of illness. If your child exhibits any symptoms, please err on the side of caution and keep them at home. We require children to be fever-free, without the use of fever-reducing medication, for at least 24 hours before returning to school. This policy helps protect not only the other children but also our valued teachers and staff.

During this time, we encourage you to reinforce good hygiene habits at home, such as frequent hand-washing, using tissues, and covering mouths when coughing or sneezing. We are committed to doing the same in our classrooms. Our cooperative efforts ensure that all families can enjoy the happiest and healthiest of holidays.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
Should you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out.

*REMINDER: According to Preschool Ministry Health policy, any preschooler sent home due to illness by the Preschool Ministry may not return to the Preschool Ministry for a minimum of 24 hours. A doctor’s note may be required at the discretion of the supervisor for any child sent home more than once.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT GROWTH GROUPS BEGINNING JANUARY 7

Wednesdays | 6:00-7:15pm

  • Celebration of Discipline: Mike Madewell - Room FH2234 - COST: $10
This study will explore the 'classic disciplines' of Christian faith: the inward disciplines of meditation, prayer, fasting, and study; the outward disciplines of simplicity, solitude, submission, and service; and the corporate disciplines of confession, worship, guidance, and celebration.

  • DivorceCare: Wayne & Nancy Wilkinson - Room 2208, Hope Building Parlor (NO COST)
DivorceCare’s life-changing support groups welcome people and guide them on the path of recovery after separation or divorce. Over 1 million people have found comfort and hope through this 13-week, video-based series.

  • Man Journey: Ron Pendergrass - The Loft - COST: $10
In a world that’s confused masculinity with toxicity and strength with silence, The Man Journey invites men of all ages to reject passivity and redefine greatness through a life-transforming adventure anchored in biblical truth. With raw honesty and hard-earned wisdom, Tim Brown challenges tired formulas and calls men back to the question that matters most: What is a biblical man? Drawing from a legacy of faith, the weight of statistics, and powerful personal stories, Brown outlines the essential truths that awaken a man to his identity, equip him to lead courageously, and send him out to impact generations. Whether you’re a father, grandfather, mentor, or just a man searching for meaning, this book is your roadmap. This isn’t another checklist for Christian men. It’s a battle cry. It’s a mission. It’s a journey. Grab your Bible, bring your questions, and prepare to walk a path that many avoid—but every man needs.

  • God of Creation (Women’s Bible Study): Ashley Keene - Original Fellowship Hall (Mark Briggs’ Classroom) - COST: $10
The opening lines and chapters of Genesis teach us fundamental truths about God. We watch Him bring light after darkness, order after chaos, and rest after toil—all through the power of His Word. Over 10 sessions of verse-by-verse study, dive into the first 11 chapters of Genesis by following three critical stages of understanding: comprehension, interpretation, and application. Teaching videos are key to understanding this study. Revisit familiar stories and historical figures, challenge your basic knowledge, and discover deeper meanings in the text. As God reveals Himself through Scripture, we can only begin to understand ourselves when we first glimpse the character, attributes, and promises of our Creator.

SUNDAY NIGHT GROWTH GROUP BEGINNING JANUARY 4

Sundays | 5:00-7:00pm

GriefShare Support Group - Lyle & Pam Carlson - Room 2208, Hope Building Parlor (NO COST)
GriefShare is a safe, welcoming place where people understand the difficult emotions of grief. Through this 13-week group, you’ll discover what to expect in the days ahead and what’s “normal” in grief. Since there are no neat, orderly stages of grief, you’ll learn helpful ways of coping with grief, in all its unpredictability—and gain solid support each step of the way.

GriefShare will begin on January 18, 2026, with scheduled breaks on February 8 and April 5.

Learn more and sign up at fbct.org/growthgroups.
