A NOTE FROM PASTOR RONNY…
As November approaches, let’s prepare our hearts to thank the Lord for His faithfulness, His mercy, and His majesty.
Take a moment and read and meditate on these Scripture verses:
1 Thessalonians 5:18 – Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
Psalm 136:26 – Give thanks to the God of heaven, for his steadfast love endures forever.
Philippians 4:6-7 – Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
What a blessing the Iron Sharpens Iron Pastors’ Retreat was! God used this time to refresh His servants and further His kingdom’s work. I’ve been hearing from the pastors who attended—each one shares a word of thanks for the love and encouragement our church family poured out. I’m especially grateful for our deacon body and your generosity; this retreat happened because of your support. Thank you for faithfully praying for these pastors, their families, and their churches. Your prayers truly made a difference.
As Thanksgiving draws near, I want you to know I’m praying over our entire church family. Here are seven ways you can cultivate a spirit of gratitude in November:
Take time to praise God for your salvation, your spiritual growth, and your church family.
Write a heartfelt thanksgiving note to a loved one, a mentor, or a close friend.
Lend a helping hand to a family in need.
Record twenty-five blessings you’re grateful for in a journal.
Reserve your spot and join us for the church’s annual Thanksgiving Dinner.
Gather your loved ones and pray a prayer of thanksgiving together.
Visit and spend time with someone who’s grieving a loss this year.
It's hard to believe that I've served as your pastor for five years. The Lord has blessed Angie and me by your encouragement, love, and support. We've seen the Lord's grace on display. I praise the Lord for your dedication to worshipping God, loving others, sharing Jesus, and making disciples. May all glory go to Him!
Thank you for the birthday wishes and the kind expressions you’ve shown to our staff and me this past month. Serving the Lord alongside you is a privilege and a blessing.
Angie and I love you dearly.
May the Lord fill your home with joy and your heart with thanksgiving this November!
In Christ,
Pastor Ronny
