A NOTE FROM PASTOR RONNY…
As I write this month's article, I'm thankful the remnants of the "ice-apocalypse" have almost disappeared. I'm pretty sure I heard you say "amen." That was a tough two weeks for sure.
My heart broke to miss church on Sunday, January 25th. However, we believed that was the decision the Lord wanted us to make. Your safety matters to us. We appreciated your prayers and support.
March is going to be an important month for our church family. Between many ministry events and spring break, this month will pass quickly.
Looking Back & Moving Forward:
The Prayer Conference is going to be wonderful. I’m grateful to Bill Graham and the Prayer Team, as they plan and lead the event. John Franklin will teach us about how to grow deeper in our prayer lives. We are looking forward to the chili dinner on Friday, and the sweet fellowship, too.
As I've been praying for our church, the Holy Spirit led me to call our church family to seven days of prayer for FBC Clarksville, beginning Sunday, March 1st. These seven requests are specific to the ministry of FBC Clarksville. I encourage you to pray about each request multiple times a day. God moves when His people pray.
7 Days of Prayer for FBC Clarksville:
Day 1: Pray for the senior pastor, the ministry team, and the support staff who serve at FBC Clarksville (Hebrews 13:7; Colossians 4:2-4).
Day 2: Pray for growth (spiritual and numerical) and congregational unity to be evident at FBC Clarksville (Acts 2:42-47; Ephesians 4:11-13).
Day 3: Pray for the Lord to call more workers to get involved and serve at FBC Clarksville (Isaiah 6:8; Luke 10:2).
Day 4: Pray for the giving of tithes and offerings to be generous, faithful, and cheerful to meet the ministry needs at FBC Clarksville (Malachi 3:10; 2 Corinthians 9:6-7).
Day 5: Pray for God’s revival to move among the members and leaders of FBC Clarksville (Psalm 51:1-12; Psalm 85:6-7).
Day 6: Pray for God’s favor to sell the land and use the funds to advance the mission and vision of FBC Clarksville (Jeremiah 32:44; Philippians 4:19).
Day 7: Pray for more people to be saved, baptized, and discipled at FBC Clarksville (Matthew 28:19-20; Acts 9:31).
Thank you for taking the time to talk to the Lord about His church. Our church will be healthier and stronger because we prayed together.
Resurrection Weekend at FBC Clarksville:
As we prepare for Resurrection weekend, this is a special season of the year to be His witnesses and invite people to church. Starting this Sunday, March 1st, you can pick up Easter invite cards and a new Easter yard sign. We desire to saturate Clarksville and Montgomery County with personal invites.
Resurrection Weekend Schedule:
Good Friday (April 3):
12:00 pm Worship and Lord's Supper (Grace Worship Center)
Resurrection Sunday (April 5):
7:30 am: Easter Worship Celebration (English)
9:00 am: Connect Groups
10:30 am: Easter Worship Celebration (English, Spanish)
12:00 pm: Easter Worship Celebration (Korean)
Let's spread the word and invite people to join us as we remember and celebrate the death, burial, and resurrection of our Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ.
Thank you for attending, giving, and serving. The Lord is using you.
Angie and I love you!
Blessings,
Pastor Ronny

Preschool
Baptistry Tour Recap
On Sunday, February 1, our PreK and Kindergartners were blessed to hear their Bible story from a very special teacher—Pastor Ronny! He shared the story of Jesus’ baptism, teaching our little ones about the importance of obeying God and the significance of baptism.
Pastor Ronny explained that baptisms can happen anywhere, but what truly makes them special is the act of sharing with others the life-changing transformation that comes from believing in Jesus as Lord and Savior. To bring the lesson to life, the children enjoyed a tour of the FBCT Baptistry, making this message even more meaningful.
We are so grateful to Pastor Ronny for showing our youngest learners the importance of Worshiping God, Loving People, Sharing Jesus, and Making Disciples. Thank you for investing in their faith journey of our next generation!

WEDNESDAY NIGHT GROWTH GROUPS
Wednesdays | 6:00-7:15pm | Beginning March 25
THE BOOK OF COLOSSIANS - (NO COST)
Teacher: David Orth – Room# 2232
What we believe about Jesus shapes everything—our thoughts, our words, our relationships, and our faith in action. In Colossians, we encounter the breathtaking truth of Christ’s supremacy over all creation and His sufficiency as Savior. If our view of Jesus becomes small, our theology and daily walk will suffer. Join us as we study this powerful letter and deepen our understanding of who Christ truly is—and what that means for how we live.THE WAY OF WISDOM - COST $10
Teacher: Tabitha Dowdy – Original Fellowship Hall
Proverbs presents wisdom as a path that leads to life and flourishing, while folly leads to ruin. Every day we choose between the lasting riches of God’s instruction and the empty promises of worldly pursuits. How often do we seek the wisdom of Scripture to guide our decisions, relationships, and priorities? In this study, we’ll rediscover the timeless relevance of Proverbs and learn how to walk faithfully in the fear of the Lord—the beginning of true wisdom.LET’S GET REAL: BRINGING AUTHENTICITY AND WHOLENESS TO YOUR MARRIAGE - COST $10
Teachers: Bryce & Karen Powers – Room# 2234
In a world filled with pressure and pretense, God calls marriages to something deeper—authenticity, unity, and wholeness. This study is designed to help couples grow in honest communication, spiritual intimacy, and Christ-centered love. Together, we’ll explore practical biblical principles that strengthen relationships and renew connection. Come ready to be encouraged, challenged, and equipped to pursue a marriage that reflects God’s design and grace.

TIME CHANGE
The time change might be a good time to work on your sleep habits, adopting habits that encourage better sleep.
1—Sleep schedule: The recommended amount of sleep for a healthy adult is at least seven hours.
2—Same time, same place: Go to bed and get up at the same time every day.
3—Eat and drink: Don’t go to bed hungry or stuffed. Avoid heavy or large meals within a couple of hours of bedtime.
4—Restful environment: Consider using room-darkening shades, earplugs, a fan, or other devices that fit your needs.
5—Moving and Grooving: Include physical activity in your daily routine. Moving can promote better sleep.
I changed my alarm clock sound to an applause. It’s the least I deserve for waking up at 7 AM!
READING
“Great children’s books are wisdom dipped in words and art.” Peter H. Reynolds
Reading isn’t everyone’s strongpoint. An estimated 40% of students are considered poor readers.
Reading is a great stress reliever. Studies show that reading reduces stress by 68%.
It all adds up. Reading just 20 minutes a day adds up to reading 1,800,000 words per year.
It’s the fastest way to build vocabulary. Children learn 4,000-12,000 words every year by reading.
Classroom libraries create bookworms. Kids in classrooms without mini-libraries read 50% less than kids with classroom libraries.
book Spotlight
📖 Book Spotlight: Fan the Flame
By Jim Cymbala
What if we modeled our churches after what Jesus originally intended His Church to be?
In recent years, we’ve seen how quickly circumstances can change. Popular growth strategies and ministry trends have left many congregations discouraged. Across the country, pastors are weary. We work faithfully and sincerely, yet sometimes our efforts don’t seem to produce lasting spiritual fruit.
In Fan the Flame, Jim Cymbala addresses the urgent need for a return to foundational, Spirit-led leadership. He reminds us of a powerful truth: Your church is not your church — it is Christ’s church. If His Church is to flourish, we must minister His way.
With humility and a renewed focus on the model of leadership found in the book of Acts, Cymbala calls leaders back to total confidence in the Gospel and complete dependence on the Holy Spirit. He identifies common pitfalls leaders face and offers practical guidance for challenges such as finances, division, and priorities.
At the heart of his message is a call to recover the fear of the Lord. To fear the Lord means to stand in awe of Him. To exalt His name. To reverence His holiness. When we return to this holy posture — when we remember who truly leads the Church — we create space for the Spirit of God to move powerfully among us.
Cymbala’s prayer for the Church becomes our own:
“Lord, show us how to do Your work so that in the midst of dark times we can still see You fan the flames of Your power and Spirit. Lord, use us to that end. Amen.
This book is a timely reminder that revival doesn’t come through strategy alone — it comes through surrender.
