Every day is a day for us to pray. We are reminded to continually be in a spirit of prayer.

This is also the perfect Sunday for our parents to try a new Connect Group or even visit a Group for the first time. You will not be alone, and it's why we call it CONNECT Sunday. Join us for our Back to School Bash complete with SPLASH

Who: EVERYONE! All are invited!!!

What: An outdoor time of fun & fellowship in the Grace Parking Lot

Where: First Baptist Church Clarksville, Steeple Entrance Parking Lot

When: Wednesday, August 6 from 5-7pm

Why: Let's celebrate the new school year with water inflatables and food that will include hamburgers, hot dogs, chips, cookies, ice cream, bottled water and sodas.

How: Make sure your child wears their bathing suit, brings a towel, uses sunscreen & brings you! This is a Family event, so moms and dads should be monitoring children at all times while on the water inflatables. Water Inflatable volunteers will be monitoring ages and usage. Preschool water inflatables include bounce house without water.

EXTRAS: We will have LOTS of water inflatables and water fun for all ages: babies-Students/adults!

We will have a couple of kiddie pool areas set up for our babies & toddlers to enjoy. Two water inflatables are designated for our preschoolers ages 2yrs-kinder, Two water inflatables are for 1-4th graders and Two water inflatables are for 5th-12 graders.

• Beatitudes of Jesus (Large Group) - Pastor Ronny - Faith Sanctuary
  History is filled with famous sermons, but few are as inspiring as Jesus’s Sermon on the Mount, preached on the beautiful hillside overlooking the Sea of Galilee, known as the Mount of Beatitudes. In this pivotal sermon, Jesus shared profound statements called the Beatitudes, teaching his followers how to live and relate to others. Join Pastor Ronny for a special Bible study series on the Beatitudes of Jesus, starting Wednesday, August 13, at 6:00pm. This study will be held in the historic Faith Sanctuary. We hope you’ll participate and study with our pastor and fellow church members how Jesus’s timeless sayings can transform our lives today!

Arise2Read - Norman Smith Elementary 

Our church has just been given an opportunity to be the hands of feet of Jesus in our community. This opportunity is to serve the 2nd grade students at Norman Smith Elementary School with their reading deficits. It is an easy sight word program and you don't have to have a teaching background to make a difference. We will serve the kids on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11:30am - 1:00pm.
