The Return Simulcast

THE RETURN SIMULCAST

The Return – a Day of Prayer and Fasting! The Return – a Day of Repentance, Renewal, and Revival!

On Saturday September 26, 2020, First Baptist Church will host a simulcast from Washington, DC. Beginning at 8:00 am and continuing to 8:00 pm in the Laida Fellowship Hall a great time of worship and praise will occur. There will be singing, praying, and fasting.

The scriptural basis for this event is 2 Chronicles 7:14 “If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” NKJV

Messianic Rabbi Jonathan Kahn has said this is the most critical time in our nation’s history for believers to cry out to God.

Participating in Washington DC will be worship leaders, speakers, and prayer leaders. Supporting this event is Rev. Pat Robertson, Dr. Jim Dobson, Dr. Alveda King, and Mrs. Anne Graham Lotz.

Most of the day will be spent praying and reading God’s Word. We are asked to come before the Lord and confess our sins as a nation: 60,000,000 abortions, national debt increasing beyond our ability to pay it back, God taken out of our schools and community.

This is our “Nineveh Moment” or God’s Judgment will fall on us.

We have been asked to pray for HUMILITY, FOR A TURNING AWAY FROM EVIL, FOR REPENTANCE, FOR THOSE IN NEED OF HOPE, FOR THE SALVATION OF MANY, FOR TRANSFORMATION OF COLD, STONY HEARTS and FOR GOD’S PEOPLE TO TAKE ACTION.

The FBC Prayer Committee encourages each of our members to come and pray. The church will be open at 8 a.m. You are free to come and go as your schedule permits.
