FIRST CLARKSVILLE CONSERVATORY

Established in 1995, the First Clarksville Conservatory is a Christian Private Lesson Program providing students and adults the opportunity to study music in a church environment. All lessons are taught in the Hope Building, located at 435 Madison Street.  

The First Clarksville Conservatory offers a wide variety of instrumental and vocal instruction in a private setting. Whether you are a beginning, intermediate or advanced musician, we can provide instruction for students of all ages who seek to develop their gifts. Our faculty is staffed with qualified and competent Christian teachers. Many instructors have degrees in music, and all have vast experience in their field.

SPRING 2025 SEMESTER


PRIVATE INSTRUCTION IS AVAILABLE FOR:

Piano / Voice / Guitar / Violin / Viola / Flute / Clarinet / Percussion

REGISTRATION FEE

$15.00
Note: A student will not be registered until the registration fee is paid. 

TUITION

Tuition for (14) 30 minute lessons $378.00 ($27.00/lesson)

Tuition for (14) 45 minute lessons $490.00 ($35.00/lesson)


LESSONS

Lessons will begin the week of January 13, 2025 and end May 3, 2025.  During the 16 weeks of the Spring Semester, 14 lessons will be taught.  The two extra weeks will allow the Conservatory to be closed the week of CMCSS Spring Break (March 10-14), and one inclement weather day.  The Spring Recitals are scheduled for Friday and Saturday, May 2 & 3, 2025.

The registration fee is due when the registration form is turned in.  The deadline is December 15, 2024.  Registrations will be taken after that date based on availability.  Tuition is payable by the semester either in one complete payment or divided into two parts at the beginning and mid-semester.  The tuition fee is due on or before the first week of instruction, January 13, 2025.  Please make checks payable to First Baptist Church.

LESSON CANCELLATION POLICY

Up to two make-up lessons will be given, provided the student gives the teacher at least a six-hour notice that a lesson will be missed. It is the student’s responsibility to notify the teacher or the Conservatory if a lesson will be missed. Failure to notify the teacher will forfeit the opportunity to make up the lesson. The Conservatory Office and instructors reserve the right to rule whether a lesson is to be made up or not.

Weather Policy:
The Conservatory will notify students and parents of cancelled lessons due to inclement weather via email when necessary.

The Conservatory will be open:

  • Monday, January 20 (Martin Luther King Jr. Day)

  • Monday, February 17 (Presidents Day)

The Conservatory will be closed:

  • Mon-Fri, March 10-14 (Spring Break)
