What is VBS? For one week each summer, our First Baptist Church family joins together to take our kids (entering Kindergarten-completed 5th grade) on the discovery of a lifetime!

TWISTS & TURNS

Spin the spinner, beat the clock, skip ahead, level up, and play to win! You’ll need to bring your A-game for this VBS. Twists & Turns is a fantastical celebration of games of all kinds. From classic tabletop games to video games and more, kids will play their way through VBS while learning that Jesus guides them through all the twists and turns of their lives. They’ll find that even when they mess up it’s never “game over.”

VOLUNTEER

Volunteer today and help kids discover that their creativity is a gift from the infinitely creative Creator who designed them for His glory.

Preschool VBS is available for Volunteer children who are PreK and younger.

ALL Adult Volunteers will be required to pass a background check and Ministry Safe Training.

Our church has an opportunity to be a blessing to children in need at Burt Elementary. We are seeking to fill 75 backpacks with school supplies to give students at the beginning of the school year. We already have the backpacks. We just need supplies to put in the backpacks. We are collecting these supplies through the month of July. You will find tables, information, and bins in our sanctuary concourse and missions landing. If you have any questions, please contact us at onmission@fbct.org.

Supplies Needed:
• No. 2 Pencils
• Cap erasers
• Crayola Crayons (at least 16 in a pack)
• Loose-leaf paper (wide rule)
• Packs of tissues
• Baby wipes
• Hand sanitizer
• Pencil box or bag

Please bring in your donations by July 31st. Our KIDS ministry will be packing the backpacks on Wednesday, August 3rd. We will pray over the Backpacks on Sunday, August 7th.

SPARK STUDIOS VBS

At Spark Studios, children’s imagination will be ignited and creativity awakened, so like King David kids will learn to use their talents to bring glory to God! Through Bible Study and activities, recreation, missions, and Worship Rally, VBS is a fun-filled week.

It's that time again! Operation Christmas Child Church wide Kick-off will be Sunday, October 20, 2019. Boxes will need to be returned by Sunday, November 17, 2019. We will have a Packing Party on Wednesday, November 20, 2019.

Vacation Bible School | Save the Date - June 10-14

At VBS 2019 our kids will focus in on some amazing, real-life encounters with Jesus. Each encounter is like a snapshot—a specific moment in time captured on the pages of Scripture. 

Our kids will discover that each snapshot of Jesus is an opportunity to respond to the gospel. And when put together, these isolated encounters clearly reveal the most amazing truth of all—Jesus Christ is the Messiah, the Son of God, and by believing we can have life in His name.

Are you ready for an up close and personal encounter with Jesus? The adventure of a lifetime awaits!

WHO? Entering Kindergarten to Completed 5th Graders

(Preschool VBS for Babies-PreK Only available for volunteer kids)

WHAT? A 5-day intensive Biblical Learning Experience for kids that is also FUN for kids & teachers alike! Our kids kick-off the day with Worship Rally, then rotate through Bible Study, Rec, Missions, Snacks, Crafts & MORE!

WHEN? June 10-14 | 9am-12pm

Operation Christmas Child Boxes will be available beginning October 21. Please return filled boxes by November 11.
