REFUGE: 10/5/2018 | 5PM-12AM | FBC Student Space
REFUGE is our spin on a purity conference. This an opportunity to present a clear and concise explanation of biblical sexuality, dating, and marriage expectations. We throw in some small groups for the nitty-gritty kind of conversations, and pair everything with some fun. We will be at the Downtown Campus until 9PM when we will travel via bus to Planet 3 Extreme Trampoline Park, and then from there to IHOP for late night pancakes. The cost of the event is $30, which include everything and a super-awesome shirt!
The time is officially here to celebrate the growth of our church this year! On Sunday morning, August 12th, all preschoolers, kids & students promote to their new Connect Group Classes! All kids should receive a promotion information card in the mail and return the completed card on Sunday morning, August 12th. Moms & Dads, Promotion Sunday is also the perfect morning for adults to Get Connect to their own small group Bible Study. Visit any of the Connect Centers today to learn more!
A chance for upcoming 6th graders (as of the 2018/19 school year) to hang out together and experience life in FBCT's student ministry. The Kids and Student Ministries have planned an awesome time at our own church campus full of games, worship, teaching, and some breakout groups...oh, and lots of food! Drop off is at 5pm and pick up is at 9pm. Drop off at Student Entrance.
A Note From Student Ministry...
We so excited that you are interested in serving as a FOCUS student leader. Great student ministries have great student leadership. We pray that our culture sees our influence for Christ and many come to know Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior as a result.
Below is the application to serve as a leader for FOCUS, which is the equivalent of VBS for grades 6-8. FOCUS will take place the week of June 11-15, 2018.
In order to serve as a FOCUS student leader you must meet all the following qualifications:
- Completed 9th-12th grade by June 2018.
- A baptized believer in Jesus Christ
- A growing Christ follower that consistently practices spiritual disciplines
- An active member of First Baptist Church Clarksville, TN
- A consistent attendee of worship services, events, and church related activities
- Actively involved in the Student Ministry of FBCT Clarksville, TN
- A consistent attendee of Sunday school, Wednesday night worship, and student ministry related activities.
Our desire in the student ministry at FBC Clarksville is that student leaders would use their God given gifts, talents, and abilities to lead by example and serve out of a desire to make Jesus famous. Ultimately, it’s about seeing others come to know Christ as Savior. Student leadership is NOT about personal fame, glory, or an extension of your social life. It is a privilege and should not be taken lightly.
The following is the process for becoming a student leader for FOCUS:
APPLY: This FOCUS student leader application is due no later than Sunday, June 3rd.
TRAINING: Next, you will go through a training process for your specific tasks for what you will be assigned for FOCUS. We will be training from 12-5pm on Wednesday,June 6th in the Student Space. Lunch will be provided.
FOCUS: Please remember that the FOCUS dates are June 11-15, 2018. All members of the FOCUS team are required to attend all five days of FOCUS.
This is a week-long event for students (completed 6th through 12th grade).
Camp will be at Lee University in Cleveland, TN from
May 28th to June 1st, 2018.
Cost for this event is $480 but your cost is only $250.00 if you register by May 1st.
After May 1st the cost increases to $350.00.
A minimum of $50 is due when registering to secure your spot.
The remaining balance is due by Sunday, May 27th.

Attention Class of 2018! We would like to take the time to celebrate you on a special Graduation Recognition Day, May 20, 2018! The form below needs to be filled out by parents of graduating high school seniors. The information will be published in a book and a copy will be presented to each senior.
It must be completed by Sunday, April 22nd to be included in the book.
Middle School Students, join us March 16-18 for DESIGNED, a Middle School Retreat at Coldstream Camp. Drop off at Camp (Adams, TN) at 5:00pm. Cost is $30.00 per student
What you will need: pillow, sleeping bag/ linens, towel, toiletries, swim suit, clothing, snacks and raincoat optional, good attitude a must!
