The Christian life is introduced and explained to us in the powerful little book of Ephesians. The Spirit says that we are, “Blessed with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ.” Ephesians 1:3 The Christian life is Christ, nothing more, nothing less. We are united with Christ, seated “in heavenly places” with our Saviour. In the mind of God, the moment we are saved, we are already in Heaven! That is the riches of His grace! We are seated in heavenly places with Christ.

Pitchers threw fastballs at his head. Runners spiked him on the bases; brutal epithets were written on cards and spoken from the opposing dugouts.

Do you have a favorite verse in the Bible? Romans 8:28 is a favorite of many believers. R.A. Torrey, Pastor of Moody Church in Chicago called Romans 8:28 " a soft pillow for a tired heart." "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose." Surely this is one of the greatest promises of God in Scripture. We live the Christian life by the Holy Spirit when we stand on the promises of God.
