About the Missions Ministry

First Baptist Church has a strong history in support of Missions in her 175 years of existance. We were one of the original churches that supported the beginning of the combined mission support through the Cooperative Program. Being a "mission minded" church has led us to pray for missionaries and give our funds to local, state, national, and international missions. We must go beyond our being "mission minded" to becoming a " mission active" church. Praying and giving must connect with our sending and going.

Acts 1:8 "But ye shall receive power, when the Holy Spirit is come upon you: and ye shall be my witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea and Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. ASV
